Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Programs and Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Programs

Cape Cod Gateway Airport has established a Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program in accordance with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulation 49 CFR Part 26 and an Airport Concession Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (ACDBE) Program in accordance with U.S. DOT regulation 49 CFR Part 23. Cape Cod Gateway Airport welcomes small businesses, including DBE’s.

The main objectives of the DBE Program are:

  • To ensure that small disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE) can compete fairly for federally funded transportation-related projects.
  • To ensure that only eligible firms participate as DBEs.
  • To assist DBE firms in competing outside the DBE Program.

Potential Upcoming Airport Projects (Five Year Capital Plan 2025 - 2029):

  • Upgrade Tower HVAC Systems
  • Terminal Optimization Program (TOP) Upgrades
  • Electric aircraft charging facility development
  • Replace Snow Removal Equipment
  • Design, Construct, Relocate and Extend Taxiway Bravo. 
  • Design & Construct Terminal Upgrades
  • Design & Construct Reconstruction and Re-Alignment of Taxiways Delta and Echo at Runway 15
  • Design & Acquire Easements/Acquisition Phase I and II for Existing and Future Runway Protection Zones (RPZs)
  • Construct a Snow Removal Equipment Storage Facility
  • Design, Permitting & Construct Jet-A 20,000-gallon tank and repainting the three existing tanks
