Support For Electric Aviation Tops Agenda At Blue Economy Conference
In the Aloft Aviation hangar at the Cape Cod Gateway Airport Tuesday, April 30, the second-ever Big Blue Conference got underway, with a conference program emphasizing how the airport is modernizing to support the dawn of electric aviation and how Eversource is preparing for a future of dramatic growth in electricity demand.
“Electric aviation is the next progression in the aviation world,” said Eric Drugge, the owner of Aloft Aviation, who was hosting the event in his hangar. Electric aviation, he said, “will become reliable and practical as battery technology evolves. This is the infancy of the industry.”
